Khanduri condoles death of pilgrims in Chamunda Devi stampede

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Uttarakhand Chief Minister B C Khanduri today expressed shock and grief over stampede at Chamunda Devi temple in Jodhpur in which over 100 people were killed.

In a statement here, Mr Khanduri expressed his deep sympathy with the families of deceased and injured, conveying his condolences to them.

The stampede occurred during the Navratra Sthapana ceremony at the ancient temple in the Mehrangarh fort, 290 km from Jaipur.

Over 100 people were fatally trampled and more than 150 wounded in the accident.
