Kate Winslet's double movie bill this December
Washington, Sept 30 : English actress Kate Winslet will have two of her films released one after another in December this year.
While her movie titled 'The Reader' is scheduled for release on December 12, another flick 'Revolutionary Road' will be released two weeks later.
The Reader a movie directed by Stephen Daldry, with Ralph Fiennes as Winslet's co-star, is from the Weinstein Company, and it has an Oscar nomination written all over it.
"Revolutionary Road", a movie based on the novel by Richard Yates, is directed by Winslet's hubby, Sam Mendes, and has Leonardo DiCaprio co-starring in it. The movie will be released from Miramax, which used to be the Weinsteins but now belongs to Disney.
The two movies further have Scott Rudin as their executive producer.
Campaigning for the Oscars for the movie "Revolutionary Road" will come from publicists who used to work for the Weinsteins at Miramax, while the "Reader" campaign will be coming from Harvey W. himself.
