Cong, JD(S) will become 'non-entity' after polls:BJP

Udupi,Karnataka, Sep 30 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Karnataka General Secretary C T Ravi, today predicted that both the Congress and the Janata Dal (S), which were forging an alliance to fight against his party, would become 'non-trustworthy political entities' in the State after by-elections and the Lok Sabha elections.

Addressing the press here, Mr Ravi said people and the leaders who left the Congress and joined JD(S) and vice versa after losing faith in their parties once again would lose total confidence due to 'unholy alliance between these two parties.' Expressing confidence that the BJP will win all the seats in the by-election, he said his party had already started its preparations.

Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had held two rounds of meetings with party workers in this connection.

Coming down heavily on the Congress and the JD(S), Mr Ravi said both, who were targeting the Bajrang Dal and the BJP Government for attacks on Christian prayer halls and violent incidents, had remained silent on violence in last six months in West Bengal and in Assam and Kerala.

The same Congress party was silent when over six lakh Kashmiri Pundits took shelter in the streets in Delhi due to militant attacks.

Mr Ravi charged the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre had adopted dual policy by showing hard stand on Karnataka and remaining silent on States like West Bengal, Kerala and Assam where damages and loss of life was more.
