CBDT extends date of filing IT returns in Sikkim to Oct 31

New Delhi, Sept 30 (UNI) The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the last date of filing of income tax returns in Sikkim to October 31, 2008.

The date, which was earlier due by July 31, 2008, has been extended in view of the delay in issuing of Instruction No. 8/2008 in respect of filing of IT return by non-Sikkimese residing in the State, an official release said here today.
