BJP deplores Malegaon, Modasa blasts
New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Denouncing last night's blasts in Malegaon and Modasa, the BJP today said the Centre's ''soft signals to curb terrorism'' had emboldened terrorists to indulge in more subversive activities.
BJP spokesman Ravi Shankar Prasad said some groups were trying to provoke communal disharmony by killing both Hindus and Muslims and those anti-India activities were being supported from across the border.
There was also an attempt by some overground organisations to defame and denegrate security apparatus whenever they were on a hunt for blast suspects, he added.
The BJP condemned the blasts and the attempt to provoke communal disharmony in the strongest possible language, Mr Prasad said.
