3 crushed as flyover under construction collapses

Lukcnow, Sep 30 (UNI) At least 3 persons were crushed to death and over 20 others trapped after an under construction flyover on the Sahid path road under Chinhat police station in the state capital collapsed this evening.

Over a dozen people were also injured in the accident, police said.

Police sources said that several people, mostly labourers who working on the site, were trapped under the collpased flyover.

However, eye-witnesses claimed that more than 20 people were trapped under the debris of the under construction bridge.

Fire brigade tenders have rushed to the spot to rescue the people.
