TN CM to launch condiments distribution on Oct 2

Chennai, Sep 29 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi would launch the distribution of pack of subsidised condiments to the card holders on October two, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.

After launching ''Rupee a kg rice scheme'' on September 15, coinciding with the birth centenary of former Chief Minister C N Annadurai, Mr Karunanidhi announced a pack of ten items of condiments at the rate of Rs 50.

Mr Karunanidhi would launch the scheme at the Secretariat, an official release here said. Mr Karunanidhi's ministerial colleagues and Union Ministers would launch the scheme in the city and other parts of the State on October three, the release added.
