RBI injects Rs.90,075 cr in Banks through LAF

Mumbai, Sep 29 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India today injected a whopping Rs.90,075 crore into the Banking system, a day head of half yearly closing of Banks.

In the two Liquidity Adjustment facility (LAF) auctions today, RBI in the first instance accepted 36 options for a cumulative Rs 53,940 crore.

In the second LAF this afternoon, it accepted 47 offers for Rs 36,125 crore.
