One-kg heroin recovered in Udhampur
Jammu, Sep 29 (UNI) Police arrested one person and recovered one-kg of heroin from him in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, sources here today said.
''On specific information, police raided a quarter of the Housing Colony and arrested one Harnam Singh, resident of Gool in Ramban district and recovered one-kg of heroin worth Rs 1 crore in international market from him,'' police sources told UNI.
The accused had to smuggle the consignment to New Delhi while he was arrested and booked under NDPS Act, police added.
