Kylie Minogue in the middle of terrorism scare?

Melbourne, Sept 29 : Kylie Minogue has found herself in the middle of a terrorism scare after British spies reportedly uncovered plans to target her forthcoming gig in the United Arab Emirates.

The pop princess is set to spin around for 2000 VIP guests at the opening of the Atlantis Hotel in Dubai in November, reports the Daily Telegraph.

However, now, there are fears that the venue could be a target for Al-Qaeda because it is seen by Islamist extremists as a symbol of decadence.

British intelligence is reportedly investigating claims that the group plans to bomb the development on which the hotel stands, following talk of attacks in Internet chatrooms.

A fresh security alert has been ordered in the United Arab Emirates and the British Foreign Office has set its threat warning for the area at high.

The hotel is built on Palm Jumeirah - a complex of man-made isles off the Dubai coast where footballers, including David Beckham, own homes.
