Karnataka to host South-zone Swimming competition
Davanagere, Sep 29(UNI) The City will host a Four-day South Zone Swimming Competition for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) institutions here from October two.
Mr K Imam, Director, Shamanur Shivashankarappa English Medium Residential School, informed that the event will be held for four age categories for both boys and girls.
As many as 625 children drawn from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andaman and Nicobar will vie for top honours, he said. Ekalavya awardee and Olympian H S Habebulla will inaugurate the event, he said.
