Jammu-Varansi express delayed due to security check
Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 29 (UNI) A Varanasi bound train was delayed for about an hour at Sirhind railway station last night for a security check following a report that two suspicious men were on the board.
According to sources, Railway authorities got information about presence of the two suspicious men in 0414 Jammu-Varansi. They stopped the train at Sirhind railway station and informed the RPF, the police and other district administration officials.
The passengers were evacuated from the train and authorities thoroughly searched the train but they did not came across any such persons.
Later, the train was allowed to proceed after getting clearance from railway and police authorities.
