Condition of Dilip Kumar improving but fever persists: Doctors
New Delhi, Sep 29 (UNI) The condition of Bollywood thespian Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to a hospital here last week, is improving, hospital sources said today.
''Dilip Kumar's condition is fast improving,'' a spokesperson at the Indraprastha Apollo hospital, where the yesteryear's actor was admitted last week after suffering from complications resulting from an urinary infection.
The spokesperson said the actor's condition was much better now though the infection still persisted.
''The infection and fever still persists,''the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson, however, refused to say when the actor would be discharged from the hospital.
Sources close to the actor, however, said he was looking forward to return to Mumbai in time to celebrate Idd and Navratri with his friends and well wishers.
The 86-year-old actor, known for his landmark performances in films like 'Devdas', 'Madhumati', 'Ganga Jamuna', 'Mughal-E-Azam', 'Shakti' and 'Karma', was admitted to the hospital on Thursday after he developed high grade fever.
