New Delhi, Sept 29 (UNI) Areva T&D India Ltd, the local unit of the world's biggest maker of nuclear reactors, today announced a strategic alliance with GE Consumer&Industrial, a business division of General Electric, to provide turnkey solutions for electrical system requirements.

The synergy of the current product portfolios of Areva and GE will offer customers a one stop solution for all their power distribution, control and automation needs.

To this alliance, GE brings low voltage and lighting products' expertise, while Areva brings expertise in the complete range of high and medium voltage products and systems, a statement said.
