Two people killed in accident in Bihar
Hajipur, Sep 28 (UNI) Two people on a motorcycle were killed when they were hit by a bus speeding on the National Highway-77 near Gardania Chowk here today.
Police said the incident took place under Goro police station, adding that the rider of the bike was killed on the spot and the pillion-rider succumbed to injuries in the hospital.
The driver of the bus fled the spot along with the vehicle.
Meanwhile, irate mob blocked the Hajipur-Muzaffarpur road for hours and the police rushed to the spot to control the situation.
An FIR had been lodged.
