Terrorism national issue like Ram Janmabhoomi: Kalraj
Faizabad, Sep 28 (UNI) Reiterating that stringent laws would be enforced against terrorists if the BJP resumed power at the Centre, Senior BJP leader Kalraj Mishra today said terrorism is a national issue like that of Ram Janmabhoomi.
Talking to mediapersons, Mr Singh said people politicising terrorism should stop such practices and fight the menance unitedly.
Expressing concern over the spiralling terrorist activities in the country, the BJP leader said tough laws like that of POTA would be implemented if the BJP attained power at the Centre. Terrorism was not the concern of a particular state or region alone , but a national issue like that of Ram temple in Ayodhya, he added.
Unleashing vitriol on the opposition parties, he said political parties, including the Congress were not taking stringent action against terrorists as part of their vote bank-politics.
He said parties fighting the menace should unitedly stand against it with full motivation and strength.
He further criticised Jamia university Vice Chancellor for favouring the accused terrorists, who were recently arrested for planting bombs in the national capital.
