SP intends to spread communal violence in UP: BSP
Lucknow, Sep 28: The ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Uttar Pradesh today denounced the Samajwadi Party (SP) for making irresponsible remarks with an intention to spread communal violence in the state.
''SP state working president Shivpal Singh Yadav's statement that the UP government deployed PAC and raided houses of only a specific community in Azamgarh district is a complete sham,'' state BSP president and Cabinet Minister Swami Prasad Maurya said here.
The truth was the PAC was garrisoned in Azamgarh district only on the directions of the Central government, he said, further rebutting the charges that houses of only a specific community were raided.
The SP should stop this blame game and question in this regard the Congress whom the former was supporting these days, Mr Maurya advised.
The SP and Congress would never succeed in misleading the Muslims and get to know this in the coming Lok Saba elections, the BSP leader quipped.
