PRP to organise week long flag hoisting celebration

Hyderabad Sep 28 (UNI) Praja Rajyam will organise week-long party flag hoisting celebration from October two to nine across Andhra Pradesh.

Informing this to newspersons here today, party founder and actor Chiranjeevi called upon the wellwishers and sympthisers of the party to participate in the flag hoisting ceremonies in their respective places.

As part of the flag hoisting celebrations, party offices at the district and mandal-level would be opened, he said.

Stating that the party membership drive would start from October two, he said the first membership would be given to physically-challanged person Balakrishna.

One crore sapplings would be planted during the week-long function to protect the environment he said, and called upon his partymen to take up the programme as a social cause.

He said he would undertake road shows (Mass contact) programme in due course.

The the first phase of the programme would commence from the North Coastal districts in which three regions of Andhra, Telangana and Rayalaseema would be covered.
