More stringent law than POTA if we come to power: BJP
New Delhi, Sep 28 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and party's Chief Ministerial candidate Vijay Kumar Malhotra today said a sterner law than POTA would be imposed if their party came to power at the Centre as well in the states.
Aggrieved by the government's laxity in dealing with terrorism, senior leaders of the BJP Delhi Pradesh burnt 280 effigies of terrorism and price spiral across the capital.
Mr Malhotra said the UPA government had failed in dealing with terrorism. "Providing of legal aid to the students involved in terror activities by the Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia University with support of HRD minister Arjun Singh is a clear indication that Congress is playing vote politics under the shadow of terrorism,'' he said.

Many prominent BJP leaders including BJP national general secreatry Vijay Goel, Dr Anita Arya, leader of MCD House Subash Arya, leader of opposition in Delhi Legislative Assembly Prof Jagdish Mukhi, Chairman of standing committee Vijender Gupta, Neera Shastri, Harsharan Singh Balli, legislators Karan Singh Tanwar participated in the agitation.
