Two students among three drown

Kochikode, Sep 27 (UNI) Three people, including two students, drowned in two separate incidents in the district today.

While in the first incident, two 15-year-old students drowned in Poolakadavu in Chevayoor river, while taking a bath with other friends.

The students, identified as Rohid and Nikhil, were tenth class students of Amrita Vidyalaya here.

In another incident, a 40-year-old man, Joy, a native of Chevayoor, drowned while trying to rescue his relative, from a river, police said.
