Stir for total prohibition in TN on Jan 21

Tiruchirapalli, Sep 27 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Toddy Movement would launch a state-wide stir by tapping toddy from coconut trees all over the State, on January 21 next, to urge the State Government to enforce total prohibition in the State.

Addressing the press here, Movement Coordinator Nallusamy said the government should remnove toddy from the list of liquors and include it as food.

He also wanted the government to allow toddy tapping as it would help develop rural economy.
