Pak Sports Minister to review PCB affairs
Islamabad, Sept 27 : A few days after taking over the PCB, Pakistan Sports Minister Najamuddin Khan will review the affairs of the Board at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad today.
Federal Sports Secretary Ashraf Khan Ashraf Khan announced this here last evening.
The review meeting would be participated by former Test cricketers, renowned sports analysts, regional cricket associations heads and three ministers, the Dawn quoted Ashraf Khan as saying.
He added: "The meeting agenda would include discussions on ways of improving the standard of the game, reviewing the constitution flaws and revival of domestic cricket in the country."
The taking over the PCB by the country's Sports Ministry has received much flak from different corners. One Board member had recently said on condition of anonymity that the Board was taken over by the Sports Ministry to "fulfill a hidden agenda".
