Opium worth Rs 50 lakh seized from youth in UP

Ghazipur, Sep 27 (UNI) Police here today arrested a youth and seized from him nine kilograms of opium estimated at Rs 50 lakh in the international market.

Ram Pravesh was arrested at Talwal road in Sadar Kotwali area and recovered the psychotropic substance from his possession, police said.

Pravesh is being interrogated and investigation underway.
