Mah CM signs MoU with ENPI for hundred crore projects
Mumbai, Sep 27 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Emirson Network Power India (ENPI) for projects worth hundred crore rupees to produce electricity and telephone equipment, in London yesterday.
The company would be set up in Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) area near Mumbai. The company will manufacture UPS, DC power, telephone system and other equipment.
After sanctioning of the plot for the proposed project of the company, it will start manufacturing equipment within a year and in which, at least 1,000 people will get employment, according to an official release here today.
During the signing of MOU, state Industry Minister Ashok Chavan, Chief Secretary John Joseph, ENPI's Managing Director Sandeep Nayar and other high profile dignatories were present, it added.
