Leopard terror tale ends in Behraich

Behraich, Sep 27 (UNI) Forest officials today held captive a leopard, which had killed many minors and animals in Kartiniya ghat area here.

The wild cat was a terror for the villagers of Sujauli area since long. It had killed 15 animals and five children so far, Kartiniya ghat forest area official A K Singh said.

The animal had picked a 10-year-old girl yesterday, who was latter found dead in the sugarcane field.

After this incident, the officials laid a trap and caught the leopard, Mr Singh added.

The wild cat has been sent to a zoo.
