AJSU stages dharna in Jharkhand

Ranchi, Sep 27 (UNI) All Jharkhand Student's Union staged dharna here today demanding withdrawal of cases lodged against agitators of Jharkhand movement.

A party delegation also submitted a memorandum at the Rajbhawan.

AJSU president Bimal Kachap said agitators of the movement were still being harrased by the government machinery, accusing the Jharkhand government of ignoring the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for a separate state.

He also alleged that the state government was indulging in corruption.
