Winfrey dismisses Carey 'appearance to announce pregnancy' reports

Washington, Sept 26 : Oprah Winfrey has shot down rumours that Mariah Carey has cancelled an upcoming appearance on her talk show that was supposed to announce her alleged pregnancy.

According to Internet reports, the pop singer was booked for an appearance on the show to share the news that she is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon, reports Contactmusic.

However, a representative, from Winfrey's Harpo production company, insists there are no scheduled plans to have Carey on the show either now or in the immediate future.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Carey has dismissed claims that the star is pregnant.

Carey exchanged vows with Cannon in April (08) after a whirlwind romance.
