Wax artisans strive hard to save their passion

Tripura, September 26, 2008 : The wax artisans in Tripura are going through a tough time as they are finding it hard to manage funds to keep their wax-carving profession alive.

Almost fifteen artisans at Nandannagar have been burning their midnight oil for the last one and a half month to meet the demand for idols of the goddess for the Durga festival.
