Three drowned in boat accident in Bihar

Begusarai, Sep 26 (UNI) At least three people were drowned when a boat capsized midstream in the river Ganges near Madhrapur ghat under Teghra police station area here today.

Preliminary reports quoting official sources said the boat was stuck in the high current of the river and overturned midstream.

One body had so far been fished out from the river, sources said adding divers had been pressed into service to trace the rest of the bodies.

Senior administrative officials have rushed to the spot.
