Jammu, Sep 26: Security forces arrested a soldier for allegedly having links with 'Khalistan Zindabad Force' (KZF) when he managed to give a slip to his unit at Baramulla in Kashmir, sources said on Friday, Sep 26.
''The jawan was held from Banihal in Ramban district along with two Ak-47 rifles during a joint nakka laid down by the Army and the police on specific inputs,'' the sources said.
The jawan identified as Ranjeet Singh, a resident of Gurdaspur, posted in 21 Rashtriya Rifles, was suspected to have links with the KZF outfit and he was arrested late last evening by the security forces from a bus in Banihal town on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
