Silver, gold opens low on bullish advice

Mumbai, Sep 26: Value of Silver and Gold declined in the opening session on Friday, Sep 26 with silver easing by Rs 90 per kg and gold by Rs 125 per ten gm on low buying support from industrial users, traders in the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

In international market gold was quoted at USD 879.30/882.30 per ounce (USD 875.00/875.50) and silver at USD 13.28/1329 an ounce (13.40/13.44), Tokyo market report said. Following were the opening domestic spot rates: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade: Rs 20,955 Gold (per 10 gm): 99.5 purity standard mint: Rs 12,985 99.9 purity pure gold: Rs 13,045.
