Ration rice worth Rs 70,000 seized from a rice mill
Pudukkottai, Sep 26: The Civil Supplies Department officials seized 104 bags of ration rice valued at Rs 70,000, from a rice mill at Keeranur near here on Thursday, Sep 25 during a surprise raid .
Official sources said acting on a tip off, the seizure was effected.
Similar raids would continue in the district to curb the crime, sources added.
