Rajasthan plant to be completed on time: Honda

Tapukara, Alwar, Sep 26 (UNI) Premium carmaker Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (HSCIL) today said the work on the company's second plant at Rajasthan will be completed by the end of next year, as scheduled.

''The overall plant will be completed between October-December 2009...this Rajasthan plant has a capacity of 60,000 units,'' HSCIL President and CEO Masahiro Takedagawa told reporters here.

The company's first plant at Greater Noida has a capacity of manufacturing 1,00,000 units.

At the Greater Noida plant, 20,000 units of Accord and 6,000 units of Civic are produced, while the remaining capacity is utilised in the 60:40 ratio for manufacturing City and Jazz respectively.
