Minor raped, murdered in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Sep 26 (UNI) An eight-year-old girl was today raped and murdered by unidentified persons at Kushalnagar area of the city.

Police said a minor girl, who was the daughter of a watchman of a bungalow in Sindhi Colony, went to answer nature's call in the morning as usual. When she failed to return home after sometime, Pratap Kondiram Dhone lodged a complaint with Jawaharnagar police station.

After a while, police received an information that the body of a girl was lying in a bush of Kushalnagar area. Dhone along with police rushed to the spot and confirmed that the body was of his daughter.

Three persons were detained on suspicion in this connection, police said, adding, their identity is yet to be ascertained.
