Minor raped in Karnal

Karnal, Sep 26 (UNI) An eighth class student was abducted and raped in Jumba village under Butana police station in the district, the police said here today.

The 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted by Ashok Kumar, a resident of Jamba village, when her parents were away working in the fields.

The accused took the girl to his friend's house and allegedly raped her there.

A case under Sections 376, 506 and 120B IPC has been registered agaisnt the accused.

No arrest has been made so far.
