Matthew McConaughey's son loves the water like his dad

Washington, Sept 26 : American actor Matthew McConaughey has revealed that his two-month-old son Levi loves water just like he does.

"My son loves the shower," Fox News quoted McConaughey, who loves to surf, as telling Pop Tarts.

"We've been to the beach a few times, but he's already spent a good nine months in 'the water' so he's comfortable," he added.

To prove his point and enthusiasm, McConaughey competed alongside Jennifer Lopez in the annual Malibu Triathlon to raise funds for the Los Angeles Children's Hospital last week.

And according to a pal of the actor's, he started becoming "obsessed" with athletics after watching too much of the Beijing Olympics.

"One minute he wanted to host a swimming comp at his house," an insider said.

"Next thing he was talking about running marathons," the insider added.
