Live bomb defused in Dharwad

Dharwad, Sep 26: A live bomb is reported to have diffused in Singanahalli of Dharwad (Northern part of Karnataka) on Friday, Sep 26. The bomb was found under a brdige of Singanahalli lake. It is evident from this incident that twin cities, hubli-Dharwad have become a breeding ground for terrorists.

"The bomb was found in a box under the bridge of Singanahalli lake that is situated near Belur industrial area, 15 kms from Dharwad", said a woman who reported about the bomb to Dharwad Police. The bomb diffusion squad arrived to the spot and diffused the bomb. Police sources have stated that box consisted of gelatin sticks and gas cylinder. Senior Police officials have arrived to the spot and are investigating about the incident. From the past few days, there are reports of presence of terrorists in the outskirts of Kalagatagi. Certain arrests have also been made in connection to the terrorists.

"Offlate, the twin cities, Dharwad and Hubli have become a breeding ground for terrorists," said Chief Minister of Karnataka, B S Yedyurappa.
