Kalam says single intelligence system can curb terrorism in country

Allahabad, Sept 26 : Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam said on Friday that a single intelligence system is needed to curb the menace of terrorism.

While addressing a function at Allahabad today he said that four components are required for eradication of terrorism from the country.

He added that fast trial of the terrorism related cases and economic growth are also needed for an effective check.

The former president also called for public participation to curb the menace.

He said the eradication of poverty is the need of the time against for checking terrorism.
