HSCIL to launch Honda Jazz in India by mid-2009

{image-Honda Jazz_26092008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Tapukara, Sep 26: Premium carmaker Honda Siel Cars India Ltd (HSCIL) on Friday, Sep 26 said it will launch Honda Jazz in the Indian market by the middle of next year.

The car, which is globally the smallest model in Honda's portfolio, will be rolled out from the company's plant at Greater Noida. ''We have decided to prepone the launch of Jazz to middle of 2009...it will be rolled out from Greater Noida plant,'' Honda Motors President and CEO Takeo Fukui told reporters here. Earlier, Honda planned to roll out the car from its second plant at Rajasthan later in 2009. The company on Thursday, Sep 25 launched the third generation Honda City in the national capital.
