Goa CM pays homage to Dr T B Cunha

Panaji, Sep 26 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat led the citizens in paying homage to veteran freedom fighter Dr T B Cunha on the occasion of his death anniversary today, at Azad Maidan here.

Mr Kamat paid floral tributes to the mortal remains of the late Dr Cunha, who played a significant role in the Goa freedom struggle.

Police Guard of Honour also paid their respects to the late leader.

Transport Minister Sudhin Dhavlikar, Deputy Chairman of State Planning Board Dr Wilfred D' Souza, Panaji Mayor Tony Rodrigues, Chief Secretary J P Singh, freedom Fighters and prominent citizens, were among those who paid homage to Dr Cunha.
