Four killed, 19 injured in Jammu accidents

Jammu, Sep 26 (UNI) At least four people were killed and 19 others injured in different road mishaps for the last 24 hours in Jammu region, police reports here today said.

''One person fell in power tank dam side and died on spot near J P Industry in Chanderkote area of tehsil Ramnagar of Udhampur district,'' police told UNI.

The deceased has been identified as Fulail Singh, resident of Srow Samthi Doda.

Meanwhile one Raj Kumar resident of Mangloor and Jagbir Singh alias Phaguri resident of Qadirpur, R S Pura, died under suspicious circumstances. Police has registered the case and the investigations are in progress.

However, a body of one Romail Singh, resident of Khabal was recovered from Dinga Amb on city outskirts while police has registered the case and investigations are in progress.

Nineteen persons got injured in different road accidents Jammu region.

''Ten persons sustained injuries when a matador, which was on its way from Doda to Pull Doda met with an accident with a stranded Army vehicle of 8 Rashtriya Rifles,''police sources said.

Meanwhile three person sustained injuries when a truck bearing loaded with fruits rolled down on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway due to negligent driving.
