UP Govt to enhance industrial security in Noida
New Delhi, Sep 26: Concerned over the fallout of the killing of the CEO of a company in Noida, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has directed that an industrial relation unit with modern security equipment be set up in the area. The Chief Minister reviewed the situation with high officials here after the incident in which some labourers killed the CEO of the Graziano Company L K Chaudhary, because of some management dispute, UP Information office said here. Ms Mayawati had, in that meeting, directed that three circle officers should be posted in the urban areas besides setting up of the industrial relation unit.
The Chief Minister said, ''It is necessary that harmony between industries and workers maintained, so that healthy atmosphere can be created for industrial development.'' Ms Mayawati took special care to emphasise that ''her government would not overlook the interests of poor and workers, but it would also not allow any body to take law into his hands.'' She said the state government was committed to establishing the 'rule of law by law' and just behaviour would be maintained towards all the sides in case of any controversy, so that a situation did not arise in which any body could adopt illegal methods out of frustration.
She appealed to industries and workers to cooperate in maintaining a proper and peaceful atmosphere for law and order situation and industrial development.
Meanwhile, on the Chief Minister's directive, Chief Secretary Atul Kumar Gupta and D G P Vikram Singh visited Gautam Buddha Nagar yesterday and assured the officers of Graziano Company, entrepreneurs of NOIDA and their representatives that the government was fully serious regarding the case and would provide all possible help to them.
The Chief Secretary assured them that the Government would ensure proper action after getting their suggestions and feedback on regular basis.
