Anupam Mishra to get Chandrashekhar Azad Rashtriya Samman

Bhopal, Sep 26 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Government's Culture department will bestow its prestigious 'Amar Shahid Chandrashekhar Azad Rashtriya Samman' to New Delhi-based Anupam Mishra, who is associated with Gandhi Shanti Pratishthan.

The award carries a 'Samman Nidhi' of Rs 1.5 lakh and a citation.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will present the award at a programme organised in Ravindra Bhavan here today, according to an official release.

Culture Minister Lakshmikant Sharma will attend the function.

Mr Mishra, who was born in Madhya Pradesh, is presently working whnt the Gandhi Marg magazine. He has been working sincerely towards water conservation in the country and abroad, the release added.
