7 BJP workers hurt in accident
Guna, MP, Sep 26 (UNI) Seven Bharatiya Janata Party workers, returning from party rally at Bhopal, sustained injuries when a mini-bus boarded by them overturned on Maksudangarh road near Ganwari village 50 km from here, police said today.
The injured were returning back to their native villages after attending party's Karyakarta Mahakumbh rally held in the state capital yesterday.
The mishap took place last night. First aid was provided to the injured at the government hospital at Raghogarh.
The driver fled from the spot after the incident, police added.
Besides party chief Rajnath Singh, party leaders L K Advani, M Venkaiah Naidu, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi, Anant Kumar and Sushama Swaraj also addressed the rally aimed at revitalising the rank and file of the party for the year-end Assembly elections.
