UP govt cancels selection process of sweepers in 3 districts
Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government today cancelled with immediate effect the selection process of sweepers in Gorakhpur, Behraich and Sultanpur districts, following massive irregularities.
The irregularities came to light after Commissioner of Gorakhpur division and Commissioner of Devipatan division carried out investigation in the selection process of sweepers in Gorakhpur and Behraich districts respectively after growing complaints over the same.
Similarly, the process was found improper in Sultanpur.
The government has now ordered appoitments of sweepers with a fresh process.
