Two held, narcotic substances seized in Kerala
Kannur, Sep 25 (UNI) Two people were arrested in connection with sale of narcotic substances to engineering college students at Mangad near Dharamshala in Kannur district today.
Police said C K Sumesh of Iritty and Sasidharan of Thavakkara were taken into custody and 1,450 ampules of narcotic drugs were seized from their possession.
Police said Sasidharan, an employee of a local medical store, had helped Sumesh to procure the huge quantity of drugs.
The drug was mainly used for giving anaesthesia to patients.
