Three drown in Amreli district

Rajkot, Sep 25 (UNI) Three boys drowned in two separate incidents in Amreli district of Gujarat, police said today.

In the first incident, two boys drowned while bathing in a check dam yesterday and slipped into the deep water at Dhari.

Later, the bodies were retrieved from the dam. They have been identified as Nilesh Dobaria (11) and Rahul Chauchan (13), police said.

In the other incident at Jabal village in Savarkundla taluka, a teenaged boy drowned in a rivulet while bathing.

He was identified as Kirit Makwana (18), police said.
