Terror threat to Tamil Nadu; Security beefed-up

Chennai, Sep 25: A high alert has been observed in Tamil Nadu from past few days in the wake of Intelligence Agencies warning that Lashkar-e-toiba is planning terror stike in State. Security is beefed-up across the temples, malls and major areas in state. Security is also hiked in the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple. The government told the people that there is no need to panic at this point as the Intelligence agencies have taken necessary measures.

On Wednesday, Sep 24 the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi had called a meeting to review the security measures taken and also to check any loopholes were there.
