Steering committee for better coordination within NCP in Bihar
Patna, Sep 25 (UNI) NCP national president Sharad Pawar today constituted a 16-member steering committee to look into the bickerings with the party's Bihar unit.
Nationalist Congress Party national general secretary Tariq Anwar, who was made Chairman of the committee, said here it would strive for better coordination within the party. He said the committee would move ahead only after taking every party leader into confidence.
The constitution of the committee was essential in view of the coming Lok Sabha elections, Mr Anwar said, adding, the NCP would work in a more coordinated manner to get the desired results.
He said at the moment, the party was concentrating on providing better relief to the flood victims. For this, a team of the party was already camping in the region, he informed.
Mr Anwar said party state president Upendra Kushwaha, MLA Abdul Jalil, MLC Mohan Lal Agrawal and others had been made the members of the steering committee.
