Sonia on two-day visit to her constituency tomorrow

Lucknow, Sep 25 (UNI) Congress President and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will be on a two-day visit to her parliamentary constituency from tomorrow.

This will be the first visit of Mrs Gandhi in the changed political scenario of the state with Samajwadi Party supporting the UPA government at the Centre.

The visit also comes in the wake of the growing differences between the Mayawati government and the Congress leadership in the state.

According to Congress spokesperson Mrs Gandhi will reach Rae Bareli tomorrow morning. She will go to Mahrajganj to pay condolence over the death of party functionary Sushil Agrahari.

At 1430 hrs, she would meet the members of women Self Help Group(SHG) at NTPC community centre.

The Congress President will also pay condolence at the residence of late legislator Ram Dulare Kureel before taking part in Roza Iftar at Reform Club, Rae Bareli.

Mrs Gandhi will make a night halt at ITI guest house while on the second day she will meet a couple of people there before distributing sports kits to children.

The Congress leader will venture for surprise checking of the developmental works in her constituency besides attending the district vigilance and monitoring committee.
